In the Company of Huskies - Digital Repositioning

In the Company of Huskies - Digital Repositioning

Redesign of a full agency portfolio website.

Desktop, Mobile · End to End digital design · Art Direction

I worked as a freelance designer for “In the Company of Huskies” a digital first advertising agency based in Dublin Ireland in 2017. I designed their most recent website with a team consisting of a project manager, interaction designer, UX designer, web developer and a copywriter. This was a project I was approached to work on with the in-house design team as an outside UX designer and project manager. I commenced the project in January of 2017 and it took 4 months in total. I designed and developed a full agency portfolio for desktop and mobile starting with wireframes and sketches to finally designing all pages in sketch which after a number of presentations I worked with the UX designer & developer to implement.

My Role

Project lead, Competitor analysis and review of current best practices, project scoping, project delivery, wireframes, prototyping, user experience design, UI design, communication with key stakeholders, developer handover, QA on staging and development environments. Key stakeholder responsibility for in-depth research, and end-to-end design of the user experience.

Design and developed a full agency portfolio for desktop and mobile. The goal was to entice new clients and also improved the interest in attracting new top-notch talent.

After a three month process the new website was completed. After several rounds of iterations on the mobile first design the website was completed. The website focused on showcasing a number of recent projects on the homepage. The website also included a Work, About, Approach, Latest (which is a blog feature), Careers and Contact page.

📣 Please note: Above is a link to the website. As time moves on and business requirements chance the website has undoubtably been updated since its initial conception. But the ethos, simplicity and backend structure remains the same to its current iteration.
